i took advantage of the AAAMAZING sale that stila was having all through december and got some goodies. i've heard great things about their line but i've never given them a shot.

the palette comes with a clear film on top that give you instructions as to where the shadows should be placed- very helpful for beginners! you can also push the button in the middle for a step by step tutorial, ADORABLE!!
the one downfall of these palettes is that the shadows don't have names. instead they have labels that say lid, crease, base, liner- boo!! but aside from that the shadows are smooth, pigmented and ssooo blendable- LOVE!!!

stila also had the option of purchasing a $5, $10 or $15 mystery bag- a "goody bag"with items that were valued at $40 and higher. i opted for the $5 mystery bag (and now i wish i would have gotten more!)
this mystery bag came with another palette and a lip & cheek stain in acai crush
like the cat eye palette, this palette has labels on the shadows. the difference here is that instead of having a tutorial, you can record you're own little message!! how cute would this be for a gift???

illuminating powder in gold
everything in this set is to die for!! EXCEPT the mascara. i was sssooooo disappointed. i don't know if i got a bad one but the mascara came with all the hairs glued flat against the wand. how am i supposed to use that?!?! safe to say i don't have it anymore :(
the illuminating powder is really nice. i like the shimmer it gives and that its not overpowering- too much shine is a no go. the sun gel is also delicious. it looks real dark in the picture because i didn't blend it out but once blended it left a nice glow with no sticky/oily residue.
below are the acai crush lip & cheek stain and a bonus 24kt lip gloss in brilliant pink
the 24kt gloss was complimentary because stila wanted to apologize that the delivery took so long. i didn't even notice it took long!! lol yay!
i love the packaging of the lip gloss- so fancy!! and the color is beautiful also.
